I suppose almost everybody knows what this movie is about and this movie doesnt disappoint you.The first half an hour is used to establish the characters and build up the tension,but the real treat starts after that which is a visual feast.
The car chase and the plane sequences are really good but predictable.
You cant stop recollecting the movies like The Day After Tomorrow,Titanic,Poseidon,Independence Day,Volcano,Dante's Peak etc while watching,but the good thing is this movie is a mixture of all the above ones.
U really dont bother about the actors in the movie as the real hero are the graphics and visual affects which are mindblowing.
Watch it for sure but be sure to watch it in a theatre that has got good projection and sound system.
P.S...I hope what was shown in this movie will not come true.If at all it happens,I wish I will have a reservation in the ship they build to escape the doomsday.
