Rann Movie Review

I used to be a fan of Ram Gopal Varma but I stopped watching his movies in the recent times as the reviews were very bad.
Rann is sort of comeback film for Varma.
It is about the war between tv channels and how the politicians use channels to misguide people.
Amitabh Bachchan did well as the owner of a news channel who has certain principles.Look out for his performance when he confesses after he comes to know the truth.
Rithesh Deshmukh proved that he is not only for comedy roles but he can do serious roles too.
Sudeep as the frustrated son of Amitabh did well.
Neetu Chandra and Gul Panag had very little screen time.
The background score was good.
Watch this movie and you wont be disappointed.

The Box Movie Review

The Box is a thriller that tells the story of a couple who recive a box from a stranger who tells to push the button on the box.He tells them if they push the button they will recieve a million dollars but someone whom they dont know will die the moment they push the button.
This movie has an interesting premise but the pace slows down in the middle.
The ending is sad and it still leaves you with many unanswered questions.
Cameron Diaz looked aged and she did well as a struggling wife and mother.
If you like thrillers, watch this movie if you got nothing else to do.

Ye Maya Chesavo Movie Review

I was looking eagerly for this movie to release since I heard about the great combination of Gowtam and Rahman.
This movie tells a simple love story which is realistic in most parts.
Naga Chaitanya improved acting wise compared to his debut movie. He needs to concentrate on his dance.
Samantha looked uber beautiful.I hope to see her in many movies. The girl who dubbed for Samantha did a good job.
This is a movie in which you see either hero or heroine in almost every frame from start to end.
This is definitely not the best work of Rahman but the picturisation of songs were very good.
The background score is not that good. The background score in the scene where the lead pair meets in a coffee shop is irrelevant.
The costumes of the lead pair are good.
If you were ever in love watch this movie for sure.
Those who dont like movies without action and masala can avoid it.

Leader Movie Review

I liked all of Sekhar Kammula's movies and he did not let me down this time too.
Leader tells the story of a young man who is the chief minister's son who knows nothing about politics and how he becomes the CM and faces the challenges.
The first half of the movie is very interesting. But the pace slows down post interval once the love drama starts.
Rana looked good and his diction is his best asset.Dont know how he fares in dance and action sequences as this movie lacks them completely.
Priya looked cute though her role has got no importance.
Richa is a bit fat and she only comes in the second half and her role has got some importance.
Suhasini played the role of hero's mother and there's nothing to complain about her.
Kota,Subbaraju and Ahuti Prasad did justice to their roles.
Songs were good especially the first song and the one before the climax.
Background score by Mickey is outstanding. Its one of the best background scores in the recent times.
Watch it for sure if u like sensible movies.

Kedi Review

Kedi will be one of the biggest flops of Nagarjuna's career.
The story might have appeared good on paper but it's a headache on screen.
Nagarjuna looked very handsome for his age and his charm is the only plus point of the movie apart from the cinematography.
Mamata's role was very bad.
Brahmanandam was wasted.Harshavardhan's role was okay.
The songs were totally out of place especially in the second half.
The director seems to have taken the screenplay from Slumdog Millionaire and The Usual Suspects.
Background score was okay and the picturisation of the duet in the second half is good.
The first half is just okay but the second half tests the patience of the audience.
Watch it if you are a hardcore fan of Nag.Otherwise skip it.
Make sure to watch it in a couple of weeks..otherwise it will be out of theatres.

I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell Review

I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell is the story of three friends who go to a bachelor party as one of them is getting married and how that night affects their lives.
The guys who played the three lead roles did well, especially the guy who played the role of Tucker.
The girl who played the role of a stripper is hot.
The story is a bit similar to The Hangover but this movie has its unique style.
Watch it for sure and watch it with your best friends if possible.

Yuganiki Okkadu Review

Yuganiki Okkadu has a promising first half but the second half disappoints.
Its similar to Indiana Jones in the first half but goes off the track completely in the second half.
Karthi did very well.
Reema Sen got a good role and she looked beautifull compared to her earlier movies.
Andrea looked good but her role has no importance, especially in the second half.
Selva Raghavan proved that he is not only limited to soft love stories. But he failed to impress in the second half. The movie ends abruptly and I think the director has plans for a sequel.
The back ground score is good and the two songs were picturised well.
Watch it if you like adventurous kind of movies but dont watch it with your family.

The Stepfather Review

The Stepfather is a thriller but it fails to impress as it is predictable and theres no suspense element in it at all.
Its about a man who befriends divorced women and their children and kills them eventually and moves to a new location and does the same.
The lead actor did well as the Stepfather.
Amber Heard is hot as usual.
Watch it if you have to kill your time.

Law Abiding Citizen Review

This is one of the movies that keeps on the edge of your seat until the climax.
Its the story of a common man who takes revenge on the system after the court fails to punish the murderers of his family.
Gerald Butler was perfect in the lead role.
Jamie Fox as the lawyer was okay.
The climax of the movie is disappointing as the efforts of the hero go unnoticed to the world.
Watch it for sure.

Bindaas Review

Bindaas is a movie that tickles your ribs most of the time.
The first twenty minutes of the movie is a bit boring but once the entertainment begins the smile on your face lasts till the climax.
Manoj is improving with every movie and I hope he will continue this.He is very good in the action sequences.
Sheena looked pretty and provided necessary glamour.
The scenes involving Brahmanandam in the second half came out well. His role ends abruptly and I wished there were a couple more scenes for him.
A couple of songs were good.
Veeru Potla debuted with a routine story but the presentation and comedy scenes saved the movie.
Watch it and you wont be disappointed.

Namo Venkatesa Review

Namo Venkatesa is a movie that has got nothing new to offer.
The plot is cliched and the director relied more on comedy than on the story.
This is a tailor made character for Venkatesh.
Trisha is losing her charm day by day.
Brahmanandam's role was hyped before the release but I was very disappointed with his role, especially in the first half.
Sreenu vaitla is not only repeating the story of his previous films but also the scenes, especially the drinking scene.
Music is just okay...
If u are a selective movie watcher, better wait for the dvd.

Adhurs movie review

I had lot of hopes on Adurs but I should say that I am very disappointed with the movie.
The story is wafer thin and the screenplay especially in the second half is a big let down.
NTR rocked in the timid Brahmin's role and the other role was a routine one.His dance was good in the third song.
Nayanatara and Sheela were there only for songs and glamour.
Brahmanandam,s role was good in the first half but becomes repetetive in the second half.
I dont know why the second half was directed in such a bad way.The climax, especially was very bad.
This is probably Vinayak's worst movie and I recommend him to stop attempting comedies and stick to his originality.
Watch it if you have to but my recommendation is to wait for the dvd.

Om Shanti movie review

I hoped to avoid flop movies in the new year but I started it watching one.
Om Shanti tells a story of five unrelated people and how they meet at a place due to some circumstances.
The whole movie is a big drag and it could have been made as a single episode serial.
The first half of the movie tests your patience and you wont be left with any patience for the second half to test.
Kajal's role was very stupid but she looked beautiful.
Navdeep's role is somewhat close to reality.
Nikhil's role is almost similar to Ravi Teja's role in Khadgam.
Aditi and Bindu had very less footage in the movie.
The songs and background music were not upto Maestro Ilayaraja's mark.
Avoid this movie and shanti will be yours.

Avatar movie review

Avatar is one of the movies which leaves you spellbound at the end.
The story is not so good but you just dont bother about the story at all after the first 15 minutes have passed.
James Cameron must have used the most recent of the graphic technologies to the full extent to create this masterpiece.
The graphics are awesome but the background score could have been better.
His imagination and his hard work for creating 'Pandora' can be seen on the screen.
I want to watch this movie on Imax 3d again as soon as possible.
If you are a movie buff dont dare to skip this movie on big screen.
If you watch movies very selectively, then this is the movie for you.
Dont miss it.
