Ek Niranjan is one of the silliest movies I watched in the recent days.
The story line is wafer thin and I wonder what made Prabhas( whose career graph is falling down) to accept this movie.There are a zillion flaws in the script.The motive of the hero to find his lost parents doesnt succeed in the end.I doubt if Puri has an idea to do Ek Niranjan 2.
The story suddenly shifts to Bangkok in the second half which is completely unnecessary.I think that Puri has a second family or some relatives in Bangkok and thats why he choses that place for most of his films even if it is completely avoidable.
The producer and director kept on blabbering before the release that they shot the climax fight for 35 days.I could have directed that fight in a single day and I am pretty sure that i would have done a better job.
Prabhas was okay but he needs to change his diction which he has been repeating from Bujjigadu.He dint dance at all in this movie.
Kangana was worst both in looks and acting.She is definitely the minus minus point of the movie after the story and screenplay.
Sonu Sood did a good job as the villain and his villainy reminded me of the villain in the movie Number one(starring krishna and soundarya).
The comedy track which includes Brahmanandam,Ali was worse than what we see in B-grade movies.I wonder if Puri directed that track.
Theres nothing new in the picturisation of songs.The costumes of heroine in all the songs were very bad.Only the 4th song(Evarunnarani anaku) was good.
Puri Jagannadh is sticking to the same characterisation of the hero in all his movies and he should stop that if he dont want his next movie to be a disaster again.
The family audience and those who expect least sensibility in a movie can stay away from this movie.The masses may not dislike this movie but the will definitely not like it.
Watch Ek Niranjan if you seriously need a headache.
P.S...The man who got the most response in the theatre was not the hero,not the heroine or Brahmanandam.It was the King of Pop..Michael Jackson.
Jayeebhava is not a very good movie but it is definitely not bad too.
The first half of the movie is boring but u will forget it in the second half which is good.
The second half has some good comedy and you cant stop laughing loud in some scenes.
But the director failed to handle the first half effectively.The love track should have been handled in a better way.
Kalyanram looked handsome and his costumes were very good in this movie.
Hansika is average both in looks and acting.
But the scene stealers are Ali,Jayaprakash reddy,Raghu babu and Brahmanandam in the second half.
The songs were not good but the picturisation was okay.
The movie is a mixture of many movies like Jodi,Ready,Gudumba sankar etc etc.
The movie could have been definitely better,had the first half been handled well.
If u like comedies,watch this movie for sure but be prepared to to bear a below average first half.
If u like investigative thrillers,u can watch this movie for sure.
The plot is very good and it keeps on the edge of your seat until the end and this movie has also got some very good visuals.This movie has got only one action scene and its very well shot.
Clive owen was at his best in this movie.Naomi watts was ok.
If u have time watch this movie for sure
This is certainly one of the dumbest flicks I watched.
I had certain hopes on this movie as it is considered as the costliest movie of bollywood and for its starcast.
There is no story at all and the whole plot is so dumb and predictable.
Sanjay dutt looked tired and his age is showing.
Akshay's role was badly written.
Zayed khan was a waste.
Lara dutta was there for the skin show and she dint disappoint in it.
Katrina did a guest appearance.
Only a couple of songs were good.
Cinematography is the only department that stands out and its excellent but you can find the same in National Geographic or Discovery.
I wonder why this movie was made on such a huge budget.I assume they payed the sharks too for not harming the cast.
You can surely avoid this movie and save some money and time.
This is undoubtedly one of the best movies i have watched in the recent times.
This movie tells the story of three different families and how their paths cross after an accident.
The story may seem simple but its the screenplay that is very much different.
U may not understand what is happening for the first 15 minutes or so because of the non linear screenplay but u will slowly come to know whats happening.
If u liked movies like Memento,The jacket,11:14, then this is the movie for you.
I recommend this movie to all for its unique screenplay.
I never wanted to go for a dth service as we have been using the cable tv for the past 10 years or so without any problems.But Our cable tv has been giving problems for a few months and I informed our cable operator about this.He fixed it a few days back but the problem recurred after a couple of days.I informed him again but he dint show up.
Some of my friends suggested me to try dth but some said cable is better.
After giving it a thought,I finally decided to go for dth and came to know Sun direct is good.
Today i bought it and they installed it.They told that I have to wait for about 6 hours for it to get activated.
I am eagerly waiting for the dth experience and hope that Sun direct wont disappoint me....tan tana tan tan.
This is one of the few indian thriller/horror movies thats really good.
Most of the indian thrillers are a copy of hollywood thrillers but this one is not.
Its more of a thriller than a horror movie and the story is fresh.
Madhavan suited the role well.Neetu Chandra was decent.
It has got a couple of scenes that scares the sh*t out of you.
If u like thrillers and have not watched this movie yet,I definitely recommend it to you.
The movie is definitely good and would have been better sans songs.
Grab the dvd this weekend and be prepared to get thrilled.
This is a movie which tells how an extramarital affair shatters the life of those involved in and around it.
The lead actor and Scarlett acted well,especially lookout for her action towards the climax.Scarlett looked beautiful as usual.
I recommend this movie especially for those who are planning to have an extramarital affair and they will surely think over it again.
I like Woody Allen's movies and this is certainly one of his best.
Dont miss it if u get a chance to watch it.
This is the tamil movie that is being remade in telugu as 'Sambho siva Sambho' with Raviteja,Allari Naresh and Sivabalaji.
This is an awesome movie that tells the value of friendship and love.
All the three main leads were excellent,especially the one who is extremely right in the poster.
Raviteja and Naresh are excellent choices for the two of the three lead roles.Allari Naresh's character stands out in the film.I hope he will do justice to that role.
The heroines in this movie are not only pretty but acted very well.One of the heroines Abhinaya is actually a dumb girl in real life.She has done an excellent job.
Music and Background score are also good.
However the climax is not so appealing and I hope they will deal with it in a better way in the telugu version.
This movie will certainly be a very good movie if the director succeeds to carry the soul of the original into the remake.
