I liked all the movies from "Just Yellow" and I kind of waited for this movie but was surprised as this movie did not get any good reviews.
Finally I decided to give it a try as my weekend was boring and I was not disappointed at all.
Katha is a sensible thriller and if you want to take a break from the routine tollywood movies then this is the movie for you.
The first half is used to establish the characters and develop the intimacy between the lead pair.
The story develops pace in the second half and it keeps you on the edge of your seat towards the climax.
Genelia looked beautiful and acted well as a psychiatric patient.
The hero has mixed features of Ram and Sharvanand and his role and acting were decent.
The friends of hero were used to provide humor.
Prakash Raj and Shafi were ok.
The best part of this movie are the dialogues which were short and very witty.
The first song comes when you least expect it but its picturised well.
Watch this movie if u have nothing to do and u will not regret watching it for sure.
If u want me to say about this movie in two words then I would say 'Simply Superb.'
I was looking forward to watch this movie for a long time on dvd as I missed it in cinemas and I had some expectations on this movie right from the start and this movie didnt disappoint me.
The story is simple...its about a rich spoilt brat who discovers himself with the help of a girl.
Ranbir kapoor suited the role so perfect that I couldnt even imagine someone else in his role.
Konkan Sen was good and she looked beautiful in some scenes.
Those who played the role of Ranbir's friends did well.
All the songs are good and the background score,especially towards the end is very good.
I would like to mention certain scenes which I liked very much..
1.The opening scene in which Ranbir tries to concentrate on his studies in vain.
2.The scene when Ranbir asks one of his classmates why she hates him so much and the explanation given by her to him.
3.The climax where Ranbir comes to know Konkana's love on him through her story in a magazine.
The director needs to be praised for making such a natural and sensible movie in an entertaining way.
Watch it for sure if u have not yet watched it.
I waited eagerly to watch this movie as I like Megan Fox and the trailer was interesting but I was very disappointed after watching it.
The plot is very stupid and boring.Its about a girl who turns into a demon and feeds on people.
Megan Fox is very sexy in this movie and she suited the role well.
Amanda Seyfried's acting was good.
Watch this movie if you are a Megan Fox fan ore else avoid it by all means.Just watch the trailer for the good scenes.
This movie can be considered a sequel to The Fast And The Furious movie which was released about 5 years back.The two movies that released after this movie(2 fast 2 furious and Tokyo Drift) had no relation to the first one.
The opening chase sequence is very well shot.The car race scene in the middle and the climax are good.
The story is basically a revenge plot where Vin Diesel takes revenge on those who killed his girl friend.The twist about the villain is good
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker did good.The heroine has very less footage in this movie.
If u like action flicks coupled with racing,then give this one a try and you will not be disappointed.
Arya 2 is not a bad movie but if u compare it with the original you may get disappointed.
The storyline is okay but the narration slows down especially in the second half which has no relation at all with the first half.
The characterisation of the hero is complex but I feel that the director failed to convince the audience with such character of the hero.
I wonder why heroine has such stupid characterisation in all of Sukumar's movies.In this movie I couldn't understand when or why she falls in love with Navadeep's character.Even towards in the climax I felt that the heroine has more sympathy than love towards Arya's character.
Allu Arjun did well,especially his dances were superb.Lookout for his moves in the third song.
I didnt like his hairstyle...it could have been better.
Kajal looked beautiful but her character was a big letdown.
Navadeep was okay.
Cinematography deserves a special mention and its very good.
All the songs were picturiesed very well.The so hyped 'Ringa Ringa' song failed to evoke the expected reaction.
Watch this movie for its songs,cinematography and dont expect much from the story so that you will not leave the theatre disappointed.
Mickey J Mayor is back with a bang after hits like Happy Days and Kotha Bangaru Lokam with Leader .
This movie again proved that Sekhar Kammula has a very good taste in music.
There are 6 songs in this album and I liked 4 songs very much.
'Avnana kadana' is the best song and u will fall in love with it in the first hearing.
Vandemaataram,Hey CM, and Maa Telugu Talliki are the other three songs to look out.
Especially the remix of Maa Telugu Talliki is very good and he dint spoil the original song.
Listen to this album for sure.

'Spread' tells the story of a man who uses his charm to flatter rich girls and live with them until he meets a girl who turns out to have the same character as his.
Ashton Kutcher was very apt for this role and he looked very handsome as usual.
Anna Heche provided the skin show more than needed.
The heroine(don know her name) looked good and acted well.
This movie has got many bold scenes and the first half of the movie is full of them.
Watch this movie for sure if u have time.
I watched the trailer of this movie and waited eagerly for the dvd.
This is one of the best romantic comedies I ever watched and the uniqueness of this movie is that it never departs from reality.
This movie is about a boy next door who falls in love with a girl and how his life changes after that.Suddenly the girl leaves him for no reason and then he comes to know about life.
I cant explain the story well but this movie is a must watch for every guy who got dumped.
The guy who is the hero looked handsome he acted very well.
Zooey Deschanel did a very good job as the peculiar girl and I think she will be considered for the best actress portion for Oscars.
Look out for the climax of the movie which is really good.
This movie certainly goes into my collection.
Kurradu is a film that gives you a headache.
The story is about a stupid guy who is obsessed with his bike.
Varun sandesh did not suit this role at all.The first thing he needs to do is to put on some weight.People were laughing when he shows his body in the climax fight.
Neha was beautiful.She comes abruptly here and then in the second half.
Saikumar's brother did the villain's role and he was okay.
The songs were not picturised well and most of the audience went out during the songs.
Background score was very noisy and it leaves u with a headache.
The comedy scenes with Ali were very bad.They could be chopped off.
Direction by Gunnam Gangaraju's son was very bad.He seriously needs to take lessons from his dad.
Skip this movie and save yourself an headache.
I suppose almost everybody knows what this movie is about and this movie doesnt disappoint you.
The first half an hour is used to establish the characters and build up the tension,but the real treat starts after that which is a visual feast.
The car chase and the plane sequences are really good but predictable.
You cant stop recollecting the movies like The Day After Tomorrow,Titanic,Poseidon,Independence Day,Volcano,Dante's Peak etc while watching,but the good thing is this movie is a mixture of all the above ones.
U really dont bother about the actors in the movie as the real hero are the graphics and visual affects which are mindblowing.
Watch it for sure but be sure to watch it in a theatre that has got good projection and sound system.
P.S...I hope what was shown in this movie will not come true.If at all it happens,I wish I will have a reservation in the ship they build to escape the doomsday.
If u want to watch a different kind of comic thriller,then this is the movie for you.
This movie is has got an intelligent script and some good humor but it ends on a tragic note.
The story is about two brothers who are conmen and how their lives get effected after they meet the heroine.This movie keeps you guessing until the end if what is happening is real or is it part of the their plan.
The climax is very good but tragic.
All the lead actors did a good job,especially Rachel Weisz.
The photography and the locations are too good.
Watch it for sure if u have time.
This is one of the best love stories I watched.
Its a Korean movie which tells a heart warming love story of an irresponsible millionaire who falls for a poor girl suffering from a terminal illness and how that love changes him.
I dont know anything about the actors but the lead pair did a wonderful job.
The hero did very well as an arrogant millionaire who reforms after he falls in love.
The heroine is cute and acted very well.
The photography and the background score are superb.They deserve a special mention.
The telugu movie 'Oy' seems to be inspired from this movie.
I strongly recommend this movie for those who like love stories.
This is one of the average chick flicks.
We would have watched this kind of story many times but this movie is worth a watch for its cast and the humor and witty dialogues.
Gerard Butler looked handsome and he acted well.
Katherine Heigl was sexy as usual.
The movie is good but it becomes routine and predictable towards the end.
Watch this movie for Gerard Butler and a few laughs.
P.S...This movie has got a song called 'Pocketful of Sunshine'. I liked it immensely and ended up downloading it after a tiresome search on the internet.
Bendu Appa Rao is a movie that makes you forget all your worries and tensions and makes you smile for a while.
I usually avoid E.V.V's movies but this movie got good reviews and even some of my friends recommended it to me and so I had to watch it.
The story is a very simple and old one but its the comedy that made the movie a hit.
This role is a cake walk for Naresh and he did a good job.
Kamna is the minus point of the movie,the second heroine looked good compared to kanna.
All the other characters like LB Sriram,Uttej,Srinivas Reddy,Ahuti Prasad were neat and they did their roles perfectly.Of all,Ahuti Prasad's role is the highlight and the whole theatre was laughing loud in the scenes involving him.
The songs were a hindrance to the pace of the movie but the good part is that they were only 4 in number.
The director succeeded well in capturing the village atmosphere.
I certainly recommend this movie to everyone who love comedies.Go and watch it and you will not regret it.
This is one of the most awaited and hyped movies of 2009.
I hope most of you are familiar with the 3 songs that have been leaked on the internet a few days back and those songs were good.
The other three songs are also very good.
Devisri did it again and this is one of the best albums this year.
The lyrics in almost all the songs are funny and very good.
Personally I like Uppenantha,Baby he loves you so much and Karige loga songs.
The trailer is also very good and I hope the movie will reach to the expectations.
Ek Niranjan is one of the silliest movies I watched in the recent days.
The story line is wafer thin and I wonder what made Prabhas( whose career graph is falling down) to accept this movie.There are a zillion flaws in the script.The motive of the hero to find his lost parents doesnt succeed in the end.I doubt if Puri has an idea to do Ek Niranjan 2.
The story suddenly shifts to Bangkok in the second half which is completely unnecessary.I think that Puri has a second family or some relatives in Bangkok and thats why he choses that place for most of his films even if it is completely avoidable.
The producer and director kept on blabbering before the release that they shot the climax fight for 35 days.I could have directed that fight in a single day and I am pretty sure that i would have done a better job.
Prabhas was okay but he needs to change his diction which he has been repeating from Bujjigadu.He dint dance at all in this movie.
Kangana was worst both in looks and acting.She is definitely the minus minus point of the movie after the story and screenplay.
Sonu Sood did a good job as the villain and his villainy reminded me of the villain in the movie Number one(starring krishna and soundarya).
The comedy track which includes Brahmanandam,Ali was worse than what we see in B-grade movies.I wonder if Puri directed that track.
Theres nothing new in the picturisation of songs.The costumes of heroine in all the songs were very bad.Only the 4th song(Evarunnarani anaku) was good.
Puri Jagannadh is sticking to the same characterisation of the hero in all his movies and he should stop that if he dont want his next movie to be a disaster again.
The family audience and those who expect least sensibility in a movie can stay away from this movie.The masses may not dislike this movie but the will definitely not like it.
Watch Ek Niranjan if you seriously need a headache.
P.S...The man who got the most response in the theatre was not the hero,not the heroine or Brahmanandam.It was the King of Pop..Michael Jackson.
Jayeebhava is not a very good movie but it is definitely not bad too.
The first half of the movie is boring but u will forget it in the second half which is good.
The second half has some good comedy and you cant stop laughing loud in some scenes.
But the director failed to handle the first half effectively.The love track should have been handled in a better way.
Kalyanram looked handsome and his costumes were very good in this movie.
Hansika is average both in looks and acting.
But the scene stealers are Ali,Jayaprakash reddy,Raghu babu and Brahmanandam in the second half.
The songs were not good but the picturisation was okay.
The movie is a mixture of many movies like Jodi,Ready,Gudumba sankar etc etc.
The movie could have been definitely better,had the first half been handled well.
If u like comedies,watch this movie for sure but be prepared to to bear a below average first half.
If u like investigative thrillers,u can watch this movie for sure.
The plot is very good and it keeps on the edge of your seat until the end and this movie has also got some very good visuals.This movie has got only one action scene and its very well shot.
Clive owen was at his best in this movie.Naomi watts was ok.

This is certainly one of the dumbest flicks I watched.
I had certain hopes on this movie as it is considered as the costliest movie of bollywood and for its starcast.
There is no story at all and the whole plot is so dumb and predictable.
Sanjay dutt looked tired and his age is showing.
Akshay's role was badly written.
Zayed khan was a waste.
Lara dutta was there for the skin show and she dint disappoint in it.
Katrina did a guest appearance.
Only a couple of songs were good.
Cinematography is the only department that stands out and its excellent but you can find the same in National Geographic or Discovery.
I wonder why this movie was made on such a huge budget.I assume they payed the sharks too for not harming the cast.
You can surely avoid this movie and save some money and time.
This is undoubtedly one of the best movies i have watched in the recent times.
This movie tells the story of three different families and how their paths cross after an accident.
The story may seem simple but its the screenplay that is very much different.
U may not understand what is happening for the first 15 minutes or so because of the non linear screenplay but u will slowly come to know whats happening.
If u liked movies like Memento,The jacket,11:14, then this is the movie for you.
I recommend this movie to all for its unique screenplay.
I never wanted to go for a dth service as we have been using the cable tv for the past 10 years or so without any problems.But Our cable tv has been giving problems for a few months and I informed our cable operator about this.He fixed it a few days back but the problem recurred after a couple of days.I informed him again but he dint show up.
Some of my friends suggested me to try dth but some said cable is better.
After giving it a thought,I finally decided to go for dth and came to know Sun direct is good.
Today i bought it and they installed it.They told that I have to wait for about 6 hours for it to get activated.
I am eagerly waiting for the dth experience and hope that Sun direct wont disappoint me....tan tana tan tan.
This is one of the few indian thriller/horror movies thats really good.
Most of the indian thrillers are a copy of hollywood thrillers but this one is not.
Its more of a thriller than a horror movie and the story is fresh.
Madhavan suited the role well.Neetu Chandra was decent.
It has got a couple of scenes that scares the sh*t out of you.
If u like thrillers and have not watched this movie yet,I definitely recommend it to you.
The movie is definitely good and would have been better sans songs.
Grab the dvd this weekend and be prepared to get thrilled.
This is a movie which tells how an extramarital affair shatters the life of those involved in and around it.
The lead actor and Scarlett acted well,especially lookout for her action towards the climax.Scarlett looked beautiful as usual.
I recommend this movie especially for those who are planning to have an extramarital affair and they will surely think over it again.
I like Woody Allen's movies and this is certainly one of his best.

This is the tamil movie that is being remade in telugu as 'Sambho siva Sambho' with Raviteja,Allari Naresh and Sivabalaji.
This is an awesome movie that tells the value of friendship and love.
All the three main leads were excellent,especially the one who is extremely right in the poster.
Raviteja and Naresh are excellent choices for the two of the three lead roles.Allari Naresh's character stands out in the film.I hope he will do justice to that role.
The heroines in this movie are not only pretty but acted very well.One of the heroines Abhinaya is actually a dumb girl in real life.She has done an excellent job.
Music and Background score are also good.
However the climax is not so appealing and I hope they will deal with it in a better way in the telugu version.
This movie will certainly be a very good movie if the director succeeds to carry the soul of the original into the remake.

This album has got some fresh music.
Almost all songs are good melodies and are very nice to the ear.
Aha na pellanta remix was damn good.
The cd is priced at Rs 10 and they are giving a free sim card along with it.
Own it for sure.
I hope this movie repeats the magic of 'Vinayakudu.'
If u like some peppy numbers,then this is the album for you.
Except two songs,all are fast paced.
I liked this album very much and listen to it atleast twice a day now a days.
Mounam Mansullona song was sung by S.P. His voice never grows old.This song has got some good lyrics.
Mounam,Dilse and Mabbe nelapaiki stand out.
Listen to this album and you will like it for sure.

Ganesh is just another time pass movie.
The first half of the movie is entertaining though the plot is nothing new and you expect the second half to be better.But the main culprit is the lengthy and boring second half that marred the movie.
Its a tailor made character for Ram.The main strength of Ram is his dance and he proved it once again.
Kajal looked beautiful as usual.
The kids were okay.I wonder why Master Atulit(Tulasi fame) was not used well.
Ashish vidyarthi was routine as the villain.This movie would have been made without him completely.His character made the movie lengthy and also spoiled the mood of the movie.
Brahmanandam was routine....not the best from him.
Picturisation of songs was good.The timing of the first song post interval and the last song was very bad.The last song was unnecessary.A sad song would have been better at that time.
If u have nothing to do,u can watch this movie for an entertaining first half and songs.Otherwise,just wait for the dvd.
P.S... The dog scene reminded me of a similar scene in an english flick P.S I Love You.
Though I watched 'A Wednesday',the starcast of Eenadu made me watch this movie and I can say that the director was not 100% successful remaking the classic.
Kamal Hassan is good but Naseeruddin shah was better in the original.Naseeruddin's character acts cool at the beginning and gains aggresiveness towards the climax.But kamal's role is aggressive right from the beginning and he completely dominated Venky.
I really appreciate venky for accepting a multistarrer and a different kind of movie where he needed to shed his stardom completely.He is okay in the role of police commissioner.
The heart of the movie is when naseeruddin/kamal explains the reason for his doings in the climax and i was really disappointed with the reason kamal says...the director should have stuck to the original in this.
Background score was okay by shruti haasan.
If u have not watched A wednesday,go and watch this movie for sure.
If u have already watched the original,watch this if you have time to kill.
Sankham is a movie which has nothing new to offer to the audience.An average movie goer would have watched such kind of movies a zillion times.
You can just skip the first half of the movie.The love track that comes in the first half is awful.
The main story starts in the second half and u can predict the whole movie after 5 minutes.
I dont know why a good actor like Gopichand is sticking to the same kind of roles.He should sincerely consider doing different kind of roles.
Trisha looked ok but she has nothing to do except to shake a leg in the songs.
Satyaraj was a miscast in that role.Someone from tollywood should have done it(like mohanbabu)
Ali and Venumadhav provided few laughs.
I couldnt remember even one song.Both the music and background score were bad.
Dont waste your valuable time and money to watch this movie.
If you are a hardcore fan of Gopi,wait for the dvd,else wait for it to come on cable tv.
If u like very slow melody songs,then this is the album for you.
All the songs have good lyrics and i came to know that you cant find any english or other language in the lyrics.
Naalo nene and padhara songs stand out.
This will be a relief for Mr.Manisharma who is being criticised badly for his recent albums.

If it's one word to express my feeling after watching this movie it is 'disappointment'.
The basic plot of this movie is good but not the way it was presented on screen.The director vasu verma failed immensely to launch a star hero's son.
Nagachaitanya looked good and did well in a couple of scenes.U cant expect much more from a debutant.He needs to improve a lot in dance and diction.His dance was certainly below expectations.
Karthika was a bad choice for the heroine's role.Her makeup and costumes,especially in the duet that comes post interval were very bad.
Prakashraj excelled in his role as usual,though he had a little screen time.Look out for his performance in the scene when his son dies.
Sunil managed to provide a few laughs.I wonder why Padmasri Brahmanandam is being cast in such insignificant roles now a days(remember his role in magadheera).
JD suited the villain's role but there's nothing much for him to do.Others were okay.
Coming to music,only a couple of songs were hummable on the audio but the picturisation of the songs was good except the first song.Background score was okay.
Editing was out of place at times,especially the timing of the first song was very bad.
On the whole,the movie was below average .
Nagachaitanya needs to improve in some areas,especially dance.
I have great hopes on his next movie with Gowtam and A R Rahman(wow,wat a combo) and sincerely wish that he will not disappoint this time,especially his fans.
This is one of the very few albums in which all songs impressed me on first hearing itself and they get better on
listening repeatedly....a must listen for all...waitin for the movie very eagerly
If u want to waste your time for 2 hours for a couple of laughs u can watch this movie...i had some hopes on this movie as it has a decent cast....but this movie tested my patience....I expected very good comedy from this movie but the movie turned out to be a dud....This is the worst role of Genelia so far....prachi desai was beautiful......fardeen khan had nothing to do....and tusshar provided the couple of laughs....govinda was routine...amrita rao did a guest role...dont bother to watch this even on dvd.
A friend of mine recommended this movie to me...i watched it yesterday night...if u are a fan of movies like pink panther,u will love this movie...the lead actor has looks like steve martin...the plot is not so good....anyway u dont bother about the plot in mindless comedies...the movie is funny in parts...i had trouble getting connected to this movie as this movies was made in the 80's.If you have already watched pink panther,u can avoid this movie and watch The Pink Panther for the second time.
